Bumble brought us together & love will never let us part. Thanks to a swipe of our phones, a blackout and a few drinks over awesome conversation we will never have a first date again in our lives. For those who don't already know the story of how our first date ended up being about 90% in a total blackout or those who need a refresher...keep reading... We were just about the only ones in 8th Street Tavern (a local dive bar ) that night (our very first date!) and barely halfway through our first round all the power went out along the entire stretch of Washington St. Luckily the bartender let us sit there under candlelight chatting away until George walked Christina home and gave her a super awkward hug and NO kiss good night. Everything from that night has been so easy and natural it seems there is something to be said about the old saying of meant to be. Since then we've managed to create a life together that feels more like a never ending adventure than anything else. Travel is in our souls (we even got engaged abroad on the Amalfi Coast!!) and 9 countries later our hearts are still excited for the next stamp in our passports. We know that our love for each other is not the only thing that has gotten us to where we are today; the overwhelming love and never-ending support we have received from our families and friends has had an immeasurable impact on us. We can never fully express what your presence in our lives as well as your encouragement, advice and shared excitement mean to us every day. We are beyond thrilled that each of you are able to share this incredibly special time in our lives with us...Let's eat cake!! (Or as George would say...Tacos!!)
