Our story began in September of 2011, when we were 16 and 17. Lauren had just moved to Kentucky and her neighbor John Caudill, who also happened to be Andrew’s friend, invited her to his birthday party. When Lauren arrived, Andrew was sitting quietly (as Andrew often does) on the porch. John, being the outgoing one, introduced Lauren to Andrew and his other friends. From then on, Lauren became a part of Andrew’s friend group. While Lauren and Andrew didn’t talk much throughout high school, they spent many afternoons driving to the nearest McDonald’s after school to drink sweet tea with friends. Once Andrew graduated, he and Lauren stayed in contact and remained friends. In the summer of 2014, Andrew and Lauren rapidly became close and had their first “sort-of” date, when Andrew invited Lauren to see his band play at the Heartland Festival at Freeman Lake in Elizabethtown. When the show was over, they spent the day riding fair rides and sharing carmel apples. Five years, two moves, two graduations (GO TOPS!!) and two fur babies later, Andrew and Lauren are finally getting married. We want to personally thank each and every one of our guests for their love and support of our relationship. We can’t imagine a life without each other, so the natural thing to do is to put our union on paper.
