And so their next chapter begins!

Ali and Derick's story actually began in 2011 and stemmed from her cousin and his best friend playing matchmakers. They began exchanging messages on Facebook, ultimately leading to Derick inviting Ali to attend a party with him. After hanging out they quickly found themselves spending time together often. Ali realized that there may actually be some validity in the popular phrase "opposites attract". Not long after they met, Derick asked Ali to be his girlfriend. Anyone who knows Derick probably understands that it was put in a more casual fashion then that, however none the less she approved of this idea. Over the years the two of them became the best of friends. Ali grew to love numerous characteristics about Derick, specifically his extremely hard work ethic along with his dependability, she knew she always could count on him to follow through with anything he said. His extremely compassionate heart for others was also extremely meaningful to her. One of the most important aspects though, was that he always made her feel safe and His presence alone provided her with a sense of calmness and security. The things that draws him closer to ali more and more each day are anything but few and far between. Her motivation is like no other, no matter what the obstacle is if she sets her mind to it, it will be accomplished. Her endless support helps push him day after day. Of course her corniness and goofiness always provides him with smiles along the way. It became apparent to each of them that they wanted to spend their lives together and that each individual possessed of characteristics that they were seeking out in a life partner. Now Fast forward to 2017 when they purchased their first home in March. Shortly following came the big day where Derick officially asked Ali to marry him at a beautiful location under a gazebo. And so their story continues... We are beyond elated for you to be present for the next chapter of our lives when we become husband and wife!
