Biltmore
Biltmore Estate is America’s Largest Home, a magnificent historic estate nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. Spanning 8,000 acres, this Gilded Age masterpiece was built between 1889 and 1895 by George Washington Vanderbilt II as a grand private retreat. The centerpiece is Biltmore House, a stunning 250-room Châteauesque-style château that’s the largest privately owned home in the United States, covering over 175,000 square feet with 35 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms, 65 fireplaces, and countless treasures of art, antiques, and original furnishings.
Downtown
Asheville is a unique city all around, but its downtown scene is what truly sets it apart from other North Carolina towns and cities. Downtown Asheville has a funky, local feel to it and is very walkable, with tons of cool and independently-owned restaurants, shops, museums, and galleries.
The Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa
The wedding venue is a place with a rich history and unique atmosphere, and it’s Asheville’s most iconic hotel. The inn itself is gorgeous with a stone exterior and bright red roofing. Inside, the lobby will wow you with its luxury-lodge feel that extends onto a wide porch outside. The inn has a one-of-a-kind stone spa as well. Famous previous guests include Albert Einstein, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Barack Obama, just to name a few. A note from Brittney: This venue holds a lifetime of memories for my family. I have been coming here since childhood, and over the years it became a place I always dreamed of returning to for one of life’s biggest moments. I fall more and more in love with the hotel’s architecture and atmosphere with every stay. I brought Devin to see the venue when we were exploring options as to where we would get married, and he quickly understood why I have always loved the place. Being able to celebrate our wedding here feels incredibly meaningful and special to us.
