FAQs

Question

What about my children?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, unless they are named on the invitation, this will be a child free wedding.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

We request that you wear Semi-Formal attire! This really goes unsaid, but please do not wear white or you will be asked to change or leave. This is a very important day for a bride, and that color is reserved for her. Please note that we may decide to do a “color palette wedding”, which means we would request that you may wear a certain color. This will be posted soon if that decision is made.

Question

What about my plus one?

Answer

All invitations will name each guest. If a plus one is not named or stated on your invitation, we deeply apologize, however, we have a set number of guests and have to stick to that as best as possible.

Question

What about allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

This will be a fully peanut/tree nut/ coconut free wedding, as the Bride has severe allergies to all. Per the bride and grooms preferences, there will also be no seafood or shellfish. If you have additional dietary restrictions, please indicate that on your RSVP and we will do our best to accommodate that.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Even though we will be of age at our wedding, we are having a dry wedding. This is very important to us, and anyone visibly intoxicated will be asked to leave.

Question

What food will be served?

Answer

Hannah’s dad has been baking cakes for over 20 years, and will be making the wedding cake. It will be peanut/tree nut/coconut free (which is typical for a cake, but due to Hannah’s allergies, there will be none of those in the area while he bakes) We will be serving dinner at the very beginning of the reception. Please write in any allergies/intolerances when you RSVP and we will be sure to try to have something that works for you.

Question

What if I have an emergency or issue the day of?

Answer

If you have any questions, concerns, or issues on the day of the wedding, we will have a designated contact for you to reach out to. Please DO NOT text the bride and groom, as we will not have our phones.

Question

What is the timeline?

Answer

We will begin our ceremony at 3 pm sharp. If you arrive late, or after the wedding party music has begun, we kindly ask that you stand in the back and not disrupt the ceremony. The reception will follow after, beginning at 5pm. Please note: Our ceremony and Reception will likely be in two different locations. This information will be on your invitation.

Question

What about gifts?

Answer

Firstly, we appreciate your thoughts and love. We have everything we need at this point in time, but have a registry for things that would be nice to have! We also have a cash fund, that can go towards our honeymoon, life expenses, and to help us fund our future home!

Question

Who will need to be in the family photos?

Answer

We will have “wranglers” that will pull you aside after our ceremony if you are to be in formal photos. However, please assume based on this list that if any of these apply to you, you WILL be in photos, and need to be picture ready after the ceremony! In relation to either the Bride or Groom: Aunts, Uncles, Parents, Grandparents, Siblings, Cousins, Wedding Party. Rest assured, we will have a time at the reception for each guest or group of guests to snap pics with the Bride and Groom!
