Our story began quietly—steady, comforting, and full of small moments we barely noticed at the time. Shy hallway conversations, shared smiles, and easy laughter slowly wove us together, little by little, into something neither of us could have imagined. We met at a time in life when everything felt uncertain, and yet, from the very first conversation, there was a certainty between us. We quickly became deeply known and unconditionally loved by one another. Those early days were filled with late-night talks, small-town drives, and leaving his house at 9:03 pm, as she knew it took exactly 27 minutes to get home by curfew. We were young, still piecing together our dreams, but we knew that no matter where life took us, we wanted to face it together. Over the years, life has carried us through many seasons—graduations, new jobs, changing plans, and moments when the future felt unclear. We’ve seen different versions of ourselves, grown in unexpected ways, and learned that real love isn’t just about holding on during the easy days, but choosing each other through every change. With every new chapter, our love has only deepened. And then, on a warm summer day by the water at Lake Oconee, GA, everything fell into place. With the lake glistening behind him and geese floating peacefully in the background, as if they knew they were a part of something special, he asked a question that would change the rest of our lives. In that moment, every twist and turn in our story was worth it a thousand times over. Now, we stand here, ready to write the next chapter of our lives. No measure of time together could ever be long enough, but we've chosen forever.
