You can RSVP any time - but we need to know EITHER WAY (yes OR no!) by Friday, August 29th at the very latest. This will allow us plenty of time to make sure our caterer has the right numbers, and we have more than enough everything for everyone!
Cocktail Attire: Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, etc.; suit jackets or just a dress shirt with a tie and slacks for the guys. We want everyone to look their very best but also be comfortable, so no need to dress too formally! We ask that you be as tasteful as possible when choosing your outfit - remember, you will be in pictures and lighting up the dance floor in whatever you choose to wear. :) We think this goes without saying, but please do not wear white/cream/ivory - that's reserved for the bride!
Our plan is to have everything indoors. No need for a rain contingency plan!
You can arrive any time after 3:30 PM. We will start the processional at 4 PM, so we ask that all of our guests are seated by that time!
We have a room block at the Residence Inn by Marriott Mt. Olive at International Trade Center in Stanhope. It's just under 20 minutes from the venue, a straight shot down Route 206. You'll be able to check in at 3 PM, which should leave you time to check in and drop off your bags, and make it to the venue in time for the ceremony. The best part - they have free hot breakfast, which will be perfect the morning after our big party! To book, call the hotel at (973) 691-1720 and mention the Kauffman-Struble wedding block.
There are 2 parking lots - one is a bit up the hill, across from the police station. This is where the vendors will park, so we will ask our guests to park in the lower lot. The lower lot entrance is right next to the trail exit, just down the hill from the venue building. You should see a small building with 2 garage doors - that's how you'll know you're in the right place!
Please do feel free to bring a plus one if your invitation is addressed to you "& guest". You'll need to let us know on your RSVP if it'll be just you or if you will be bringing a plus one. If you are unsure, you can always reach out to one of us to ask! We are inviting a select few little ones (mainly family members and bridal party members). Please only plan to bring your kiddos if your invitation is made out to your family - for example, "The Smith Family". If your invitation is addressed to individuals (John and Mary Smith), we kindly ask that you find a babysitter and enjoy your child-free evening!
We will have an open bar with a few different types of wines and beers, as well as a few specialty cocktails. There will be non-alcoholic beverages, as well, of course! Drinks are compliments of the newlyweds - but please do feel free to bring some cash to tip our fabulous bartenders!
