Going to the Sun road is a great way to see Glacier Park from the convenience of your car (although the drive is not for the faint of heart). Without stopping, it takes at least 2 hours to drive the full 50 miles of Going-to-the-Sun Road. There are scenic overlooks along the road that allow you to pull over to take in the view and snap photos. Jackson Glacier Overlook affords the best opportunity to see a glacier from the road. Jackson Glacier Overlook is located on the east side of the Going-to-the-Sun Road between Logan Pass and St. Mary. There is no fee for driving Going to the Sun Road, but the park entrance fee is $30 per vehicle.
