We’re getting married!

Hi hi!! We’re so happy you’re here. Truly!! It means a lot to us that you’re part of this. 🫶🏻🥹 We wanted to tell you how all of this started, because somehow we went from complete strangers on Hinge to planning a wedding together… and it still feels a little unreal! Olivia messaged Tate first. It was bad. Like SO bad. She asked if his middle name was Olivia because her middle name is Tate… which doesn’t even make sense. But he answered immediately, so honestly?? it worked. Something most people don’t know is that Tate was Olivia’s first date after brain cancer. Everything felt a little fragile, but also really exciting and safe at the same time. Tate had kind of given up on dating. Olivia was just trying to get her life back together. Neither of us were expecting anything serious… and then this happened! Our first date was at Tacos Lopez (which Olivia later found out was Tate’s go to first date spot, which is honestly so funny!) Two weeks later Olivia left for Thailand, and Tate fully thought that was it and we’d never talk again. Like cool, she’s gone forever. But halfway through the trip Olivia texted him that she missed him… and that was kind of the moment everything shifted! We were both just IN. After that, we basically didn’t leave each other alone. We’d stay at Tate’s place for days, then go back to Olivia’s like we already lived together. It all felt really easy. Really calm. And we couldn’t get enough time with our new best friend. 🥹😭 We quickly went into some big life moment together and once we made it out alive, our bond felt stronger than ever. One of those moments? The Vegas car explosion 🤣 On the way to meet Olivia’s California family, Tate’s car blew up. Olivia slept through the entire thing in the front seat. Tate thought we were about to break up in an AutoZone parking lot because of the stressful craziness, and Olivia just… walked next door, grabbed a six pack, and came back ready to hang out and figure it out 🤣 Which honestly says everything! That first summer was the best!! Paddleboarding, birthdays, random little trips, grocery runs, late night talks. Nothing crazy, just normal life, but it felt like anything but normal 🫶🏻 At the end of July, Tate asked Olivia to move in together. She said not yet, so he signed a new lease and that was that for now. Two weeks later, after a weekend trip to Bear Lake, she changed her mind… and Tate and Jupiter basically never went back to his place in South Jordan! 🤣 In February 2025 we went to Cabo, and everything just felt really clear and fun and awesome. We already knew we loved each other, but it was the first time it felt like okayyyyy, this is actually happening! When we got home we went and looked at rings and he went back and bought it a few weeks later. 🥹 Then Tate planned a trip to the Oregon Coast, which is one of Olivia’s favorite places. She had a feeling… but was still sooo not prepared!! The first night in Cannon Beach, Tate proposed with the prettiest ring, a hidden photographer, and a speech we both completely blacked out during. 🤣 Olivia had been carrying around a little card that said “Olive you so much” (because his family calls her Olive), so she surprised him back with a little speech of her own. Since then, it’s just been reallyyyy good. We moved in together with Jupi and Pip and have built a life that feels easy and fun and STEADY. We laugh a lot and we push each other to be our best. We feel really, really lucky! We seriously cannot wait for September 6th! We can’t wait to celebrate with you, dance, cry, all of the things! Just being surrounded by everyone we love means everything to us as we take our next step! Thank you for being here!! We love you so much 🤍
