When T.J. and Evy lived on the East Side their first year in Austin, they'd spend many Saturdays getting beers from Zilker Brewery and eating at the Spicy Boy's food truck on the lot. Their favorite drinks are the Parks & Rec and any of the sours!
Being the closest brewery to T.J. and Evy, they visit often and love their sour beers, as well as mango sticky rice frozen. With tons of food trucks for a bite, Songbird and Side Eye Pie are 2 of their fav options.
When the weather is warm, the bride and groom love heading to Central Machine Works to enjoy live music and sip on a frozen espresso martini. They also have a great beer selection and delicious pizza.
Veracruz is famous in Austin for having some of the best tacos in town. You can sit inside to cool off and enjoy a couple of tacos with their incredible agua fresca, or if you're on the go, they have a walk-up window for a quick bite while you explore Congress.
Three words: $12 Wagyu burger. This is T.J. and Evy's number one spot for dinner! They recommend getting there before 6 to take advantage of the happy hour special, along with some great apps and snacks. You’ll often find them enjoying the burger special, a soft pretzel, and an Icy Boys beer.
Fun fact: The Maid of Honor, Mia, was visiting during Evy and T.J.'s anniversary and joined them for dinner at Laundrette. The food is unbelievable, and the homemade ice cream sandwiches—don’t sleep on them! It’s a must-try spot for an unforgettable meal.
This is the Bride and Groom's all-time favorite dinner spot in Austin. They went together on their first trip to the city while searching for apartments, and it’s remained at the top of their list ever since. It’s a place full of memories and always delivers an amazing meal.

Located behind an inconspicuous red door, T.J. and Evy love going to Small Victory and ordering the "bartender’s choice." It’s the perfect way to let the bartender curate a custom cocktail based on your favorite liquors and tastes.

Whistler’s has an incredibly unique atmosphere and menu. For our friends and family who enjoy mezcal, there's even a mezcal bar upstairs.
