Our story began the way so many great ones do—unexpectedly, under Friday night lights. We first met in 2014 at a high school football game, a moment that didn’t seem life-changing at the time but quietly became exactly that. What started as a friendship soon grew into something more, and by September 2015, we officially began dating. Not long after, our relationship was tested by distance when Dylan headed to college in Oregon. Through years of long-distance, we learned new ways to show up for each other—late-night phone calls, FaceTime calls, thoughtful texts, and counting down the days until we could be together again. No matter the miles between us, our bond only grew stronger. Now, years after that first meeting under the Friday night lights, we’re ready to begin our next chapter—side by side, surrounded by the people we love most, and excited for a lifetime together.
