Paige and Drew’s story began with a message on Hinge. Drew asked why Paige had majored in history and what her favorite time period was. When she answered World War II - his favorite, too - they were off to the races. Their conversation flowed for hours, setting the tone for everything to come. Less than a week later, they met for dinner at Red O. The food may have been forgettable, but the date was anything but. What was meant to be a quick meal turned into four hours of laughter and effortless conversation. They closed down the restaurant… and Drew closed out the night by accidentally dropping his leftover fajitas all over the floor. As Paige laughed, he walked her to her car and planned their next date on the spot. Drew knew Paige was the one on their third date in San Clemente. That night included a sunset walk and dinner at Brussels, a cozy spot that soon became their annual Valentine’s Day tradition. Paige realized it, too, during one of their many TV nights. What should’ve been a quick 30-minute show turned into a three-hour event, filled with conversation, rewinding, and laughter. As silly as it sounds, she knew she wanted that kind of joy forever. Since then, their relationship has been full of memorable milestones: annual trips to New Orleans for beignets, po’ boys, and Bourbon Street crawls; supporting each other through the stress of graduate school; and adopting their beloved puppy, Lilo—who turned out to be equal parts adorable and chaotic. Paige has spent the past few years gently coaching Drew, an only child, on the art of sharing. So far, he’s doing pretty well - especially when dessert is involved. Together, they’ve learned patience, teamwork, and how to puppy-proof a living room.
