Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Weddings are more than just a single day- they're an opportunity to bring loved ones together. Our wedding week is designed with intention to create meaningful connections and cherished memories with our family and friends. The day after our wedding, we're planning a special gathering for those who can stay. This will be a relaxed opportunity to bond, catch up, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings together. We'll be in the area from Monday, October 5th through Thursday, October 8th, intentionally choosing this destination to maximize quality time with our nearest and dearest. Detailed event plans will be finalized closer to the wedding week, and we'll send announcements as specific events are confirmed.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! Please see The Setting page on our website for details of our hotel block with Pine Rose Cabins. If you would like to add a day before or after please contact Pine Rose Cabins directly at (909)337-2341 and they will be happy to accommodate you! We encourage you to enhance your vacation and book a larger cabin with family members or friends that you would love to share some extra time with. There are also plenty of other options in the area if you want to search around for other lodging options. Marriott Residence Inn in Loma Linda is a 34 minute drive down the mountain for those that have Marriott discounts and is the nearest Marriott hotel. Big Bear is also 30 mins away if you want to search there. No matter where you choose to stay or who you choose to stay with it’s the perfect area to plan a fun or romantic getaway for the week!

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes. You can find all the details on the Epilogue page of our website!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is black tie. For women, this means a long evening gown, and for men, a suit and tie are appropriate. The rest of the time we will be as casual as can be enjoying a fall week in the mountains; so let’s change it up for one night!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions. Please ensure you let us know in advance as we do have to let our caterer know in advance.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event. We, the bride and groom, are providing all the drinks for our event so the options will be at our discretion. Please be aware that our wonderful bartender does work for tips and we would appreciate your generosity in helping us show him our gratitude by providing cash tips during the night. Thank you in advance!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We warmly welcome children over 8 years old to join our celebration. For families with little ones under 8, we'll be providing professional childcare services during both the ceremony and reception. If you're interested in our childcare option, please let us know, and we'll be happy to make arrangements to ensure your children are well cared for while you enjoy the festivities.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at the venue. If you’re staying on property all cabins are within a 5 minute walk of the ceremony/reception site. It’s a beautiful trek among the trees and along the creek.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! Although it is an uncommon occurrence in October our venue is a fully outdoor event space. But, amazingly, the venue is outfitted with retractable awnings that cover our reception area and will allow us to continue our celebration! Please bring umbrellas if rain is in the forecast, just in case.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy! Soak in the moment and use your hands to wipe your tears, pray a prayer for us or clap as we pass by as Mr. and Mrs.!
