Daniel and I started college at UC Irvine in the Fall of 2010. We both played on the volleyball teams, so we were bound to meet at some point - the men's and women's team hung out nearly every weekend. In October of 2010, we were at a party at one of the men's volleyball houses and happened to cross paths. We hit it off and hung out for the rest of the night! We "officially" started dating about a year later and haven't looked back.

On a very warm, sunny afternoon in Northern California, Daniel and the Fleming family went to Testarossa Winery - a staple when visiting The Bay. Right after we were seated, my sister in law Vanessa asked if I would help with a quick diaper change for my new niece, Piper. As an excited, new aunt, I jumped at the chance! When we left the restroom, Daniel was waiting outside - he led me into a private room at the winery and got down on one knee. There were a series of surprises following the actual proposal - Shaina and Tangerine, long time best friends, helped Daniel execute the proposal and were there just moments after we left the private room. The entire Stork Family from Southern California (and Atlanta) and our best friend in Chicago, Sara, were there to surprise us at dinner. It was the most perfect day filled with so much love - we're so excited to have another opportunity to celebrate with all of you!
