Josh starts our story in February 6th at an Easter planning meeting when he sat across the room from me, and we both noticed each other for the first time. But it wasn't until September 3rd that we finally talked to one another. That night, having locked his keys in the church, he knocked on my door and asked to borrow my church key. When he returned my key, he asked about my day, and we spent the rest of the evening on the porch talking about all of the things we had in common. After he left, our conversation moved to email and for a week, we exchanged length emails, learning more about each other. At the end of that week, Josh came over again and began pursuing a relationship. One filled with lots of walks around Plymouth and tea dates on the couch, talking for hours, working on projects and brainstorming ideas. It wasn't until several months later that he admitted locking his keys in the church on purpose - intentionally and beautiful pursuing me from the start.
