Things To Do

We're so excited that you are taking the time to visit Saint Louis, a city that is very special to both of us! Below are some activities that we enjoy as a couple and think you might like too:
Olive + Oak

Olive + Oak

216 West Lockwood Avenue, Webster Groves, MO 63119

For us, Olive + Oak is not just a restaurant - it is where our story began. Tucked into the heart of Webster Groves on Lockwood Avenue, this is where we went on our very first date. It has remained a special part of our lives ever since - when we adopted a cat together, we named her Olive, and when we bought our first home we somehow ended up on a street called Olive Court - so yes, the theme has a way of following us around. If you are looking for a great night out while you are in town, this is our top recommendation. The cocktails are creative and expertly made, the menu is ingredient-driven and always changing, and whether you start with the oysters or the fried cheese curds, you are in for a treat. Reservations are recommended for dinner, but the bar is a great spot for walk-ins.

The Hill

The Hill

St. Louis, MO 63011

The Hill is a charming neighborhood in St. Louis, known for its rich Italian heritage and vibrant community. Founded by Italian immigrants in the early 1900s, The Hill offers a unique blend of history, culture, and culinary delights. The neighborhood is famous for its authentic Italian restaurants, bakeries, and markets, making it a must-visit for food lovers. Our favorites include Gioia's Deli, Pizzeria de Gloria, & Adriana's on The Hill (but if Italian isn't your thing, the best sushi in the city can be found at Sado on the corner of Shaw & Marconi Ave.)

Forest Park

Forest Park

St. Louis, MO 63112

Stroll Through Forest Park: This beautiful park has been named the #1 city park in the United States by the USA TODAY 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards. It offers a wide range of attractions with FREE admission, including the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Missouri History Museum, and the Saint Louis Zoo. The park's 1,300 acres include picturesque vistas, trails, and conservation areas, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely day out.

Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Brewery

Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Brewery

1200 Lynch Street, St. Louis, MO 63118

Whenever you find yourself in St. Louis, a visit to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery is a must! Not only will you get to see how your favorite beers are made, but you might also catch a glimpse of the famous Budweiser Clydesdales strutting their stuff. During the Anheuser-Busch Brewery tours, you can enjoy samples of their freshest beers. Depending on the tour you choose, you might even get to taste beer straight from the finishing cellars. It's a great way to experience the brewery's offerings firsthand. Cheers!
