Meet our family and friends!

Kayla Harlow

Matron of Honor

Kayla is my best friend, my life support, and my keeper of all secrets. We first met at the playground at Faith Presbyterian over 23 years ago. We have been connected at the hip ever since. Over the years, we have laughed together, cried together, fought, made up and shared some of the best memories. I was honored to stand by Kayla as her Maid of Honor and I can't wait for her to stand as mine. Kayla and I will be friends until we're old and senile... and then we will be new friends. I just know that our families will one day grow up together and that is a memory I look forward to most.

Ryan Steingrubey

Best Man

Me and this guy go way back.... like from the second he existed way back. But aside from the obvious of him being my little brother, he is also my best friend and there is no one else who I would want standing next to me on my wedding day!!

Monica Shambo

Maid of Honor

Monica is the Christina to my Meredith. She is my person. We have been best friends since the day Monica was born (literally). We were blessed with parents who are great friends that raised both of us together, practically neighbors. You know the saying "God made us best friends because he knew our parents couldn't handle us as sisters" well, that is us. Monica was with me the night I met the love of my life and I will forever cherish this memory. If anyone understands me the most, it's this girl right here.

Robbie Mueller

Best Man

Robbie and I met sometime around middle school and have been a part of each others lives ever since. From little league sports, to crashing with each other in college (Alabama & Auburn), to being my wingman the night I met my future wife,.. it is safe to say me and Robbie have experienced a lot together. And I am honored to add to the list with Robbie serving as co-best man alongside my brother.

Sara Hession

Bridesmaid

Sara and I hung out with the same group in high school but the real friendship all started with a Twitter DM. We were both transferring to Auburn and I slid in Sara's DM asking if she was moving to Auburn, Sara replied "Do you have roommates?! Text me!" and the rest is history. Not everyone is blessed with a great roommate, but honestly, Sara and I couldn't have been a better fit. I often miss the days of laying in bed starring at each other through our Jack and Jill style bathroom, the late nights in the library, or the exciting thrill of the student section at Jordan Hare Stadium. I am so blessed that we live near each other and we will forever make memories together

Michael Pasternak

Groomsman

Where do I start with Michael,.. his sister introduced us while I was living in Tampa and he was in town from Orlando. And to be honest, I am pretty sure I texted her the next day and said something along the lines of I don't know if this is going to work (speaking of mine and Mike's friendship). But the more we hung out the stronger our bond grew. From Bucs and Lightning games to my personal favorite of man-date Monday's our friendship is one of a kind. And just as I stood there with you when you married Christine, I can't wait for you share the stage with me on my big day as well!

Lillie May

Bridesmaid

Lillie and I first met during Phi Mu recruitment week at Auburn University. We were both transferring in from different schools and instantly became inseparable. Though we live on opposite ends of the state, we are just as close today as we were in college. Lillie is my pick me up on a cloudy day. To know her is to love her and I think everyone can agree. I don't think Lillie knows how much her and her husband played a role in my testimony and I will forever hold that close to my heart.

Ben McMurray

Groomsman

Ben may go by "boss" these days,.. but we have been friends since high school. In fact, when I first went to work with him, one of the first things he asked of me was for me to not share any crazy stories from our youth. Like when he tried to burn my house down in Tuscaloosa or that one time.. you get the point. Truth is when I moved back to Fairhope, I was kind of lost. Not lost as in I could not find my way home, but that I had reached a point in my life where I didn't know what my next move was. But after a conversation over drinks Ben asked me to come work for him and we haven't looked back. It's fair to say I owe a lot of what has transpired in my life over the past few years to him, and I am truly honored to have him standing beside me.

Candice Nelson

Bridesmaid

Candice is the sister that I always wanted. Since the day my brother met Candice, I knew she was the one for him, our family, and for myself. Let's be honest, we just fit. It's not uncommon for the two of us to show up at the same place, wearing the same thing. I look up to Candice as much as I look up to my brother and that is saying a lot. Growing up, I didn't think there would be anyone that would come close to the standards I had for my brother's wife but boy did she check off all of the boxes. I like to think it's because we are so much alike ;)

Logan Nelson

Groomsman

Guess Ryan will have to deal with no longer being my only brother. Oddly enough they look more alike than we do, like scarily similar. I have not known Logan as long as my other groomsmen but it doesn't really feel that way. In all honesty I look up to him as a role model for the husband I hope to be to his sister as well as one day a father. I truly don't think I could have asked for a better brother in-law, and am excited to officially be family!

Breanna Beyer

Bridesmaid

The moment Breanna came into my life, it was like a breath of fresh air and a little help to deal with these Steingrubey boys. For awhile there, I didn't think Ryan (Jason's brother) was going to move out of our house, but then he met Breanna. We all knew it was meant to be. Watching my future brother -in- law, step in as a bonus dad to Layla has been a joy to witness. I look forward to the many memories to be made as a family and cheers to us for putting up with these Steingrubey boys for the rest of time!

Andy Baggett

Groomsman

Andy and I also go way back, not as far back Ryan and I, but Andy is one of my oldest friends. We met in sixth grade when I moved into the same neighborhood and we have been raising hell ever since. Well maybe a little less these days ,.. but that's besides the point. We drifted apart after college due to location, but after about 8 years it truly felt like we picked up right where we had left off once life brought of us back to Fairhope. But we were able to build that rare type of friendship growing up, whether it is 8 days or 8 years, it feels like yesterday. Looking forward to raising hell with you for as long as I am "allowed" too.

Jordan Harrison

Bridesmaid

I met Jordan in the summer of 2017 serving table at Sunset Pointe. We had just graduated college and were both actively searching for a job. When we were finally hired in the fields we studied, the two of us remained great friends. If you're ever looking for us (or baby Reece), you will probably find us at Target spending money we shouldn't be or buying overpriced coffee at our local coffee shops. I can't wait to meet the newest Harrison addition!

Nikesh Kumar

Groomsman

"Cash Money".... Me and Nikesh met through mutual friends while I was living in Tampa. Nikesh, Michael and I soon established the "3 amigos" as we pretty much did everything together, sports games or dollar drafts at Macdinton's we didn't care. The thing we really bonded over was going to shows and festivals. Nikesh was my go to for anything that had a DJ and lasers. Whether it was a simple show at Hogan's Beach or Shephard's or a weekend festival like EDC. We were going, and the only thing we knew for sure was every video I took would have Nikesh singing in the background louder than the actual artist. Our videographer has already been made aware that he will have some editing to do!!

Layla Nguyen

Junior Bridesmaid

Layla came into our lives when we met her mom, Breanna (Bridesmaid). She will one day become my niece *hopefully*. Layla has brought so much joy and spunk in our lives since the day we met her. She often reminds me of myself when I was her age. She loves to dance, stand out, and wear bright colors. You will absolutely find this girlie on the dance floor showing everyone up at the wedding!

Blake Cozart

Groomsman

Blake and I met through my brother when I moved back to Fairhope. Blake is one of those friends you meet and you kind of have the reaction of where have you been all my life?!? We just get each other, we have had similar life experiences and have similar tastes. That being said he is also a salesman, and I know that after every deep conversation he is going to try and sell me something. And after 3 years he was successful and finally sell us house. So don't be shocked if you leave our wedding with a new house or at the very least his business card. Blake I expect kickbacks
