We're Getting Married!

You might not believe it when we tell you how Isabel and Justin both went to the same high school at one point and yet never shared a look or conversation. But it's the truth! Isabel and Justin were honored to have been introduced through a twist of events and one gracious soul committed to finding the perfect girl for Justin. Sharing their first date with two other couples, the two knew this relationship was something different... Something more special than words can ever describe. After meeting Isabel, Justin just couldn't stand to be away from her. Day after day, Justin would ask to see Isabel and then drive 45 minutes (one way) just to spend a few precious moments with her. Rather quickly, the two of them entered their lavender haze. During the first year of dating, Isabel and Justin experienced a number of life changing events. From both of them graduating high school, to Isabel leaving for college and Justin beginning his electrical career, their love never wavered. These two soulmates have never once doubted their love for each other. Even across great distance and months of being apart, the two of them never once thought they couldn't make it. Their love and commitment to each other is greater than all things. After a year of dating, the two of them knew that eventually they would join in union. And just after three years of dating, as the two of them were on a lengthy hike for their enjoyment, Justin knew exactly how he would ask Isabel to begin that journey together. A year after their first hike at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Justin and Isabel returned to the hiking trail for what Isabel thought would be her last "summer hoorah" before beginning her master's degree program. Little did she know that deep in Justin's pocket was a diamond waiting for her "yes". After nearly 8 miles of hiking, the two reached the highest cliff on the Lake Superior lakeshore. For the past two years, Justin has imagined this exact moment. He had it all planned out - right down to purchasing a special ring box made specifically to be hidden and untraceable in his pocket. He had just spent the last few hours rehearsing what he would say when the time came. And as they stood there and he watched her beam at the beauty of nature, all those carefully thought-out words left his mind. He knew she would say yes. He knew this was the perfect moment. But suddenly, with so much joy and love in his heart, there was no space for words. Within seconds, he asked the question and she said yes! (As if you didn't know that!) Now, Isabel and Justin are planning their wedding for August 10, 2024 and they want YOU to join them in celebrating! It's been more than 5 years of these two growing closer together and building the love and home and now it's time to let the world know they are one and the same.
