This will be an adults-only celebration. We love your little ones, but we hope you’re able to enjoy the night off!
Black Tie Optional — which means tuxes and gowns are welcome, but not required. A dark suit and cocktail dress are totally appropriate. Think: elevated, festive, and dressed to celebrate!
We have a room block at discounted rates at The Strathallan Hotel. We have also added a discount booking rate at the Courtyard Rochester Downtown, which is still walking distance to the wedding venue. Hotel info can be found on the “Travel & Lodging” tab.
We are not providing transportation during the weekend because almost everything — from welcome drinks to the ceremony/reception and after-party — is within a 5-minute walk of the hotel (10 minutes if staying at the Courtyard). If you’re arriving by plane or planning to explore beyond downtown, Ubers and Lyfts are readily available throughout Rochester!
If your invitation says “and guest,” then yes! Otherwise, we’re keeping the guest list intimate and hope you understand.
We’re doing an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask that phones and cameras stay tucked away. We promise our photographer will capture everything beautifully — and the rest of the night is fair game!
Yes! We’ll be hosting Welcome Drinks at Jackrabbit Club the night before the wedding, and a casual post-wedding hang at Preservation Beer Company in Fairport Village on Saturday. All the details (times, locations, what to wear, etc.) can be found on the Schedule tab of the website.
