Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We *Highly* recommend utilizing! We have a shuttle bus that will be picking up and dropping off guests from The Landsby and Hotel Ynez in Solvang. If you are not staying at one of the hotels but plan to take the shuttle, PLEASE PARK AT ONE OF THE PUBLIC LOTS NEXT TO THE LANDSBY HOTEL. Review the TRAVEL TAB with all of the shuttle information.

Can I drive directly to the venue?

Answer

Guests are strongly encouraged to please drive to The Landsby Hotel to catch the shuttle to the venue. Please note, parking at the venue will require taking a smaller shuttle van to the lake, as the road to the venue is very long and windy, and they prohibit outside vehicles from driving in and out for safety reasons. If you do need to drive to the venue, please let Chris or Erin know directly so we can communicate instructions. We will update with more thorough details closer to the event date.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding events will be entirely outdoors. Plan for hot & sunny 80º days, and for it to cool down each night to mid-50s-60s. We will have a bon-fire each night and a limited amount of blankets available for guests :)

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The Welcome Party on Friday night will be Cocktail Attire – think dressed up, yet comfortable and summery. The Wedding Day (Saturday) will be Formal Attire – we hope you like getting dressed up as much as we do! Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits & cocktail dresses. Solid colors are encouraged. Please no white :) We will update with the forecast as the date gets closer, but it should be rather warm and sunny all day, and a bit cooler at night. Please note that all events will be entirely outdoors. There will be grass, gravel, and stone flooring, so please wear appropriate footwear.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have two hotel blocks for our guests, with booking information listed on the Travel Tab of our site. If the Landsby and Hotel Ynez end up filling up, we suggest the following spots nearby, or looking into AirBnbs in the area. We added a list of some nice options on our Travel tab. Additional hotels: The Inn at Mattei's Tavern in Los Olivos, The Alamo Motel in Los Alamos, Skyview Los Alamos, Sideways Inn Buellton, Santa Ynez Valley Marriott, Wine Valley Inn in Solvang, Best Western in Buellton

You bet! If you are planning to bring your little ones and they are not already included on your RSVP name, please reach out to the bride or groom directly to update.
