We started talking on December 7th, 2022. Steven had a prompt on his profile that said, “First round is on me if you can beat me in Wii Sports (game of your choice).” I commented and said that I could beat him at Wii Tennis any day. Where he then said, “Bet, how about this Sunday, my place!” After that, we talked all day, every day, until our first date. We decided not to meet at his place because you never know if someone online might end up being a psycho. So instead we had a first date at Moorroom in Buffalo to watch the Bills vs. Jets game (Bills won!) on December 11th. We talked about everything from our families to him playing Santa at his local Kohl’s. We ended the date watching “The Santa Clause” at his place. As I was about to leave, I asked him, “So when are you going to kiss me?” He finally did, and the rest is history.
