The Spencer Golf Academy hosted an Education Session for EWGA Cincinnati (Tracy's women's golf association) in April of 2016. Following the lesson, Doug emailed her with the subject "Golf" and one simple question: "Would you like to go play sometime?" After figuring out schedules, the plan was to meet on Sunday, May 15 at Coldstream Country Club. It was a fun round of golf and on the final putt on the 18th hole a bet was made. With putts equal distance from the hole, whoever made his or her putt would earn dinner. Tracy's put just rimmed out and then Doug sank his putt (of course!). Doug won dinner and another date!

Tracy and Doug started off the year with good friends Keri and Cory Reinhart and Amy and Ryan Alt to celebrate four 40th Birthdays in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. On the last full day of the trip, Tracy and Doug took a tour to Chichen Itza, one of the "New 7 Wonders of the World." After a day of adventuring in the Mayan ruins and jumping in Ik Kil Cenote together, they returned to the hotel to meet up with the other couples. Everyone decided we would finish the afternoon with a beach photo shoot at sunset. Tracy and Doug were the last couple to take pictures and as they finished, Doug got down on one knee! Tracy quickly called on Amy to turn around to take more pictures, as Doug surprised everyone. He then asked Tracy to marry him and she said, "YES!" We're thrilled to celebrate our next adventures with our family and friends as we start our marriage in Columbus, Ohio. The best is yet to come! Love, Tracy and Doug
