Matron of Honor
CK was my "big sister" for middle school volleyball. Even though we didn't know it at the time, her lackluster, last-minute "good luck" signs on my locker were the beginning of something magical. We crossed paths again in high school when we played on JV soccer together. Life happened and we lost touch for a while, but once we were back, we were back and better than ever. CK is my go-to hype woman, my future charcuterie business partner, and un-official wedding planner and I couldn't do life without her.
Best Man

The leader of the Eckart sister wolf-pack, Bob is everything you can hope for in a big sister. She made all the mistakes so Sami & I didn't have to (; Bob isn't afraid to be herself and I look up to her every day because of it. She works hard at everything she does and is always a phone call away, always willing to help, and always down for a Sonic run. I am so glad to have you by my side for the big day, but more importantly, life.
Groomsman
Lamar & roommate.

Ahhh yes, the one who made me a big sister but also made me a middle child. Sami is also everything you could hope for in a sister. She has also been a roommate I can count on to bring me my toothbrush when I'm too lazy to get up, tell me to go to bed when I fall asleep studying on the floor, and always say yes when I say "you wanna go get Starbucks?". Sami is loyal to those she loves and I am lucky to be one of them. You can also probably count on her to turn red when she walks up the aisle during the ceremony so keep your eye out for that (;
Groomsman
Old baseball.

Laura & I are the classic example of the "I didn't like you when I first met you" story. We met through Lamar Soccer. It was preseason, I was a sophomore and Laura was a freshman. I was out of shape, Laura was not, and let's just say my pride hurt a little when she pranced by and said "you got this girl" while I was hunched over gasping for air. But lucky for us, God was laughing and had other plans for our friendship. Laura kept me sane as we were co-captains our last year and has been speaking truth and pointing me to Jesus ever since.
Groomsman
Also Lamar.

Jen is another one of my Lamar Soccer friendships. We came in the same year but didn't hit it off immediately. I honestly can't remember what exactly brought us together but once we bonded, we were bonded for good. Jen & I became roommates and after that, Eric was our third wheel during undergrad. Jen is passionate, kind, and never afraid to be herself. I'm glad our friendship didn't die when she kicked my grass tower and I punched her in the arm in retaliation. It was a close call but we made it through!
Groomsman
Law school.
Bridesmaid
Oh baby Tata. Thanks for inviting me over to your family's house when we were strangers so we could meet and become train riding buddies as we started the monster that was PT school. I'll never forget how everyone thought we were friends long before school started. She's my train buddy, scooter sidekick, and car pool pal. God knew I would need someone I could count on during grad school and I'm so grateful He gave me you. But be warned wedding goers - she may whip out Were Not Really Strangers when she meets you!
Groomsman
Golf.

Rachel's friendship was a sneaky one. Rachel is the wife of one of my good friends and classmates, Thomas. We started our bond when we were scheming a surprise party for Thomas and since then, she has become an amazing friend and someone I can be my most sarcastic self with. Like Claresta, Rachel is also a fan of deep conversations and together they have both loved and challenged me in truth and towards Jesus. Thanks for being my over-thinking buddy and always putting up with my sass.
Groomsman
Alex’s childhood friend. Also, golf.

Bailey and I go waaaayyyy back. Think two 5 year olds running around a playground and that's where you would see this friendship starting. I've been lucky to call Bailey my first best friend and also my Mia Hamm twin (feel free to ask me to see the picture, you won't regret it). Then Bailey moved to Houston, then I moved to Dallas and our visits became sporadically sprinkled throughout the years. But fortunately for me, Bailey is one of those people I can pick right back up with. No matter how long it's been since we have seen each other, it never feels that long at all. Thanks for knowing me from the start and deciding to stick around!
