Question

Can my children come?

Answer

While we adore all the little ones in our lives, we have opted for an adults-only celebration to ensure that everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities. We hope you understand our decision, and we look forward to celebrating our special day with you.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible to help us with our planning process. The RSVP date is by August 9th, 2025. Your timely response will help us to ensure a seamless and joyous celebration for everyone.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate anyone who does not RSVP by August 9th, 2025.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code. Come dressed to impress! We kindly ask you to avoid any jeans, plaid, or casual clothing. Please refrain from wearing any shade of white or ivory, as this is reserved for the bride.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

We're thrilled to share that there will be an open bar throughout the entire wedding, including non-alcoholic options, to ensure everyone has a delightful experience. Get ready to party it up!! The open bar will be available until 12:30pm.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have chosen to have an intimate, smaller wedding and are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place at the Kincardine Rock Garden. This is a grassy spot that overviews the lake. Our reception is at the Kincardine Pavilion. The Rock Garden is very close to the Pavilion and is only a minute walk from there.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 4pm sharp. Please ensure you arrive 15-30 minutes in advance to choose a seat. If you arrive at the ceremony start time, you will not be invited in.

Question

Can I take photo's during the ceremony?

Answer

Respectfully, no. We ask that your phone's are turned off and put away as we celebrate this milestone in our lives. We have hired professional photographer's and a videographer to capture our day. Let's allow the professional's to do their job. Please feel free to take photo's during the cocktail hour and reception, and share all you like.

Question

What happens after the Ceremony?

Answer

Following the ceremony, guests will be invited to attend the cocktail hour, hosted on the Pavillion's patio. You will need to enter through the Pavillion's front door to access the Patio.

Question

What gift should I bring?

Answer

We are honoured and excited to celebrate our special day with our loved ones! Your presence and well wishes are the most meaningful gifts we could ever ask for. If you are considering bringing a gift, we kindly request monetary contributions towards our future home, and a European honeymoon. Alternatively, we have added a few things to our registry that we have been looking to upgrade. We thank you in advance for your kindness.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is limited parking available at the Pavilion. There is public parking just beside the Pavilion, but it is often busy on Saturday's. Please allow extra time to find parking, if you choose to drive. Carpooling, being dropped off, or taking a taxi from a hotel is highly encouraged.
