Need directions to the venue?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and reception will take place at Irons Mill Farmstead (252 Greenfield Rd in New Wilmington, PA). Once you arrive to the open parking lot, there will be signage directing you to where the ceremony will take place outside. After the ceremony, we will invite you to join us inside the barn for the cocktail hour and reception. Directions from Hermitage/Sharon: From East State Street turn right onto State Route 3011 (South Kell Ridge Rd). Go 4 miles and turn left onto PA-318E. In 1.5 miles turn right onto Greenfield Rd. In 2 miles Irons Mill Farmstead will be on the left. Directions from Boardman/Poland: From US-224E cross over Ohio/PA boarder towards New Castle and turn left onto I-376W. Take exit 2 (West Middlesex) and turn right off of ramp onto PA-18 South. Go 1 mile and make slight left onto Buckwalter Rd. Stay straight through two stop signs (3 miles) and Irons Mill Farmstead is on the right.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding dress code is formal attire, which means we suggest you wear a suit of any color, nice cocktail dress or pantsuit. Our ceremony will take place outdoors, so we recommend that you bring a jacket, umbrella, or sunglasses depending on the weather forecast.

When should I arrive for the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 3:30 sharp. We recommend arriving at Irons Mill Farmstead at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat. The wedding ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour and reception, which will conclude at 10pm. We so look forward to enjoying the afternoon and evening together!

What food & drink will be served?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception. We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a dinner buffet during the reception. Of course, the night would not be complete without some tasty desserts too!

Are wedding gifts requested?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can reference the 'registry' tab on this website or there will be a table when you arrive at Irons Mill Farmstead during our wedding festivities.

Are children and plus-ones welcome?

Answer

The name of every guest invited to attend is listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated at our venue. We invite you to reach out to us if you have any questions!

Will there be other events to attend during wedding weekend?

Answer

All of our guests are invited to join us for a Welcome Party on the evening before our wedding on Friday, April 04. Check out the 'things to do' tab in this website for other recommendations of our favorite things around the area.

Can I take pictures during the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during our ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special time and have professional videographers to record the event for us. Throughout the cocktail hour and reception, we invite you to capture the evening as you wish!
