FAQs

Question

How is Covid-19 affecting your invitation list?

Answer

We got married on June 26, 2020 and can't wait to do a mini vow-renewal/postponed celebration with everyone! Our guest list unfortunately had to be cut down due to the MA restrictions surrounding Covid. We apologize immensely for having to un-invite people. We are SO appreciative how understanding everyone has been during this time and appreciate the love you have given us.

Question

How is Covid 19 affecting your wedding?

Answer

The restrictions are being lifted just in time! Masks will not be required, but if you are not vaccinated we strongly suggest you follow the CDC guidelines and wear a mask. If you are vaccinated and you still want to wear a mask, please do! We want everyone to be comfortable at our wedding. Our table count will be 16 people max and we will do everything we can to seat groups together comfortably. Our buffet will still be staff served instead of self served. Finally, we are allowed to have a walk-up cash bar again!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by May 1, 2021. To make it extra easy, we have an RSVP tab on our wedding website where you can RSVP online!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Zola! Please check out our registry page on our website! We have most of the essentials but are still furnishing/decorating the house we purchased last year!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your online RSVP says “and Guest,” then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your kids dearly, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event (besides our closest family) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. Please use our wedding as a date night! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Springfield Northampton/Amherst, but there are plenty of hotels within 15 minutes of our venue. Please check out our travel tab for more information!

Question

Is there parking at your venue?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at our private venue, so don't worry about getting there early for parking! We will be having a shuttle to and from the hotel that we have a block at! If you don't book a room at our block, please consider Ubering from your hotel if you plan to be drinking, we love you all and want you to be safe!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to be seated by 3:50pm at the latest for our 4:00pm ceremony unless you want to be walking down the aisle with our wedding party!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no dress code - please wear whatever you are comfortable in! The ceremony will be taking place outside, so bear in mind that there will (hopefully!) be some June sun! The reception is taking place inside the air-conditioned barn, so bring a layer if you are one that tends to get chilly easily. And there will be LOTS of dancing, so bring your dancing shoes!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will be having a buffet with a variety of different foods, but please let us know if you are severely allergic to anything so we can let our caterer know to be mindful of this!

Question

Can I take pictures during your ceremony?

Answer

We would love for our ceremony to be unplugged, meaning your phone or camera stays in your bag or lap. We want to walk down the aisle and see all of your faces, not your phones! No worries though, we have hired 2 excellent photographers to capture all these memories! We would appreciate if our pictures weren't full of everyone's phones in the air. Thanks for your understanding!
