2011, Roxie found herself delivering the luggage of poor shmuck's for the Monterey airport; one of these schmucks was Travis Murray. Accustomed to characters, they became friends. Years later living in Utah, Trav urged Roxie to meet his brother Hayes. After several refusals, a very annoyed Roxanne finally agreed to connect this "lonely, single poor" brother of his....2 days of texting, jokes, doctored pics and exaggerations about his height, Roxie finally reluctantly agreed to meet and on January 12, 2014 the two met for the first time in his families driveway. From that day forward the two have been extraordinarily inseparable. Never have ever left each others side for even a night. They would later coin the name "The Soups" meaning Roxie and Hayes, Never spent a day apart

Hayes knew for quite sometime Roxie was the one but it finally came time to ask her. He thought of many different ways to ask her but decided Christmas would be the day. Now all he had to do was buy the ring. if only it was that simple. He knew nothing about color, cut and clarity. He felt overwhelmed by oppinions and ideas, only giving her the hint that her Christmas gift would be nothing he would ever buy anyone else. After numerous trips to jewelry stores he had a good idea of what is was he was going to get her. suddenly it was Christmas Eve and he had gotten her nothing. To the jewelry store he went. Christmas Eve as she was opening her presents he told her to make sure she open his gift last. As she was getting near to opening his gift he slowly made his way to the floor and she confused opened her box of nothing he pulled the ring from his beanie and proposed. In a moment of surprise she said nothing forgetting to answer. He said please say yes and she did.
