What does Formal Attire mean to us?

Answer

For men: no need to wear a tux, but please wear a suit and tie For women: please wear a long dress or even a fancy cocktail dress; our hem length preference would be ankle length or longer, since this is a formal affair We know wedding norms may vary, so we kindly ask that you please refrain from wearing white to all wedding events, as this color should be reserved for the bride in our situation (dress shirt for men being the exception), and please try to stick to the dress codes provided. If you have any specific questions, please don't hesitate to ask us! We want everybody to feel good in what they plan to wear!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one, someone different from who was listed on the invitation, or my children?

Answer

While we love that you want to share our love with others, we unfortunately cannot accommodate anyone that was not specifically named on your invitation. As this is a formal affair, we are only able to accommodate the children in our immediate family. We hope you understand!

Can I take photos?

Answer

We do request that you refrain from taking photos during our ceremony - we love our photographer and we're sure you will, too! We want everyone to be present to share in our special day. After our ceremony ends, please take as many pictures as you'd like, and be sure to share them with us!
