We’re getting married!

I remember the first time I saw Tim at Clark, and thought "He's cute!" but after a few awkward encounters, I decided that I better stay away from that guy. However, coincidental meet ups caused me to see who he truly was as a person and it wasn't long after that, that he became my best friend. I still remember when he confessed his love for me while we were watching an episode of "How I met your Mother". Although none of my friends were surprised by this confession, I surely was and decided that we could no longer be friends. After a few coincidental meetups and Tim's perseverance, we found a way back to each other. Not too long after this, Tim asked me to go to dinner with him, and after explicitly telling him I did not want a boyfriend and that this was NOT a date, we went to Applebee's. Later that night, he asked me to be his girlfriend and I was really annoyed. I thought to myself, "Why doesn't this kid just give up? Whatever, I will just date him because I know this will not last long". Little did I know that night that he would be the best thing that ever happened to me and that four years later, I would be getting ready to spend forever with him!

No começo, eu estava tentando planejar uma grande surpresa elaborada, mas cada vez que tentava, algo dava errado. Um dia ela saiu da escola para ir a uma consulta médica, e uma ideia surgiu na minha cabeça! Ela ia pegar o trem de volta à escola, então decidi que ia fazer uma surpresa para ela na Union Station. Infelizmente, eu não tinha carro, então tive que pegar um Uber para chegar lá. No caminho, eu estava digitando no meu telefone tentando encontrar as palavras certas para dizer e ter a combinação perfeita de português e inglês. Quando cheguei à estação, eu estava andando pra la e pra ca esperando o trem dela chegar e, quando o vi chegar, corri, coloquei meu telefone contra a parede para gravar e esperei ela me ver (ela quase passou por mim!). Quando ela me viu, tinha um olhar confuso no rosto, mas quando me ajoelhei e comecei a falar, ela começou a chorar e continuou dizendo: "Não para. Não acredito!" Depois que terminei, ela não conseguia nem dizer sim, somente estendeu o dedo para eu colocar o anel ( e eu fiquei perguntando se ela estava dizendo sim!)! Foi difícil para mim conter as lágrimas e não chorar também, mas consegui passar e, depois de colocar o anel no dedo dela e finalmente ouvi-la dizer sim, levantei e dei um abraço enorme nela! Lembro que me sentir o homem mais feliz do mundo!
