Our Story

It all started at PetSmart... Okay, okay.. It all started with a swipe! Two strangers, just a message away from something real. What began as a simple connection turned into something we couldn’t have predicted: our forever. Our first few dates felt easy; we talked about everything and nothing, laughing at silly jokes, swapping photos of Otto and River, sharing our goals and dreams. Slowly peeling back the layers of who we were. That second date? It sealed the deal. That fourth date? Kristina learned Matejko was an identical twin and met all of his closest friends!! There was a comfort, a warmth and a feeling that this was something special. We fell in love through shared meals, quiet nights in, adventures, inside jokes and a million little moments that made up our story. We’re beyond excited to continue this journey together, side by side, hand in hand, forever though marriage. Here's to a lifetime of love… we’re proof that sometimes, the algorithm really does get it right.
