We’re getting married!

Katie's version: I volunteered to come help out to the Quisenberry kid's birthday party in July 2012. My horses had been staying at their farm and Jaclyn and Colleen (Jaclyn's SIL/Shane's best friend's wife) had mentioned giving the kids horse rides. I know my horses best and figured Colleen would be busy entertaining, so why not! My life was in shambles and chaotic, I was heading into my last year of college and was home for the summer. I did not plan on meeting the man of my dreams... nor did I dress like I was going to.... I rolled up in the ol' red Dodge pick up truck, wearing a hot pink tank top (hideous) from Walmart, baggy shorts and my wet hair thrown up into a bun. I drove straight to the barn to go see my horses and get them ready. Not on time, of course. I don't quite remember everything that day other than Rowdy being a jerk and fighting the bit in his mouth and hearing about some guy named "Shane Smith"... and the story began!! Shane's version: Who really believes in love at first sight? I didn't really either, until 7 years ago July 22nd while walking out to my truck at a birthday party. Time literally turned into slow motion as this beautiful girl pulled in with the most amazing smile!! Who is that?! Come to find out, it would in fact be the girl of my dreams! From that day forward, we have pretty much been inseparable. I cannot wait to call Katie my Wife!
