“Somebody told us that this planet was small…” It was the 90’s when we first crossed paths at the same hip hop show with mutual friends. In fact, Andy remembers seeing Nicole and thinking “that girl is way out of my league!” Fast forward Twenty-plus years later after being reintroduced by mutual friend, and maid of honor, Ashley Briggs. The first date was spent hiking 8 miles and even after getting lost in the woods there was still so much to talk about. From the first time Nicole gave Andy a full length dissertation on why Nas was the greatest rapper of all-time, to go along with her calm and witty demeanor, he knew she was the one. To Nicole attending every single Grilled Lincolns show and swooning every time Andy rapped about her, she knew he was the one. Over the years, they have only fallen more in love. After a two and a half year courtship Andy took Nicole to Europe for her birthday. He knew he would propose in Paris, but wasn’t sure when or where. After two days of carrying a ring box around everywhere from The Louvre to The Palace of Versailles, there was only one day left. The last night at The Eiffel Tower and Nicole’s semi-fear of heights kicked in and Andy knew he had to act quickly and asked a nearby stranger to take a picture of the two of them. As the picture was taken, he got down on one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him. To his surprise, she said yes! And just like that with Nicole’s 3 amazing children - Cole, Natalie & Joey; and her 2 decently behaved Huskies; Gunny and Padmé and Andy’s stubborn Yorkie Hurley - a new chapter of life started. We want you all to know what a huge role you’ve played in both of our lives and how much you all mean to us. We will be honored to share our special day with you all.
