Maid of Honor
Sure, she's 7 years younger than the bride, but she might as well have been a twin. Caroline didn't let the groom get by easy...at the age of 10, she offered him a firm handshake when he went to give her a hug goodbye at his first Senn Thanksgiving. More than a sister, Caroline is the bride's best friend and role model.
Best Man
Brother of the groom, fishing buddy, golf instructor. Told the hard-headed groom to date Emily three years before she asked him to prom.
Bridesmaid
Emily's blood sister (seriously, they pricked their fingers when they were 6). Carman & the bride ran the playground and basketball court together for 18 years before going to college and becoming sorority sisters. The two are so close they plan to coordinate their retirement plans, including living together in the same assisted living facility.
Father of the Groom
You can call him Franky Boy, Junior, or Papa Sligh. The groom gets his good looks (and hair) from this man.
Bridesmaid
Friends turned sisters, Lilly was Emily's college roommate (soulmate) for all 4 years at Clemson + ADPi sister. The bride's long-time therapist, fashion and interior designer, and late night heart to heart conversationalist, there's little Lilly doesn't know about Emily. Good thing Derek is long used to being the third wheel in this relationship.
Groomsman
College roommate, team mom, biggest competitor. Once had a race to see who could tie their shoelaces the fastest. For the record, Justin lost.
Bridesmaid
Sorority sister turned college roommate turned Charleston neighbor, Logan is the bride's walking partner, fellow football junkie, and frequent voice of reason. And if Tiger Rag is played at the reception, be on the lookout for Rally Cat Logan's return.
Groomsman
Charleston roommate and go-to guy...e.g., Derek called William at 10 AM the day he proposed to ask him to come take pictures, so William took off work and drove 40 minutes to Folly Beach.
Bridesmaid
The bride's college roommate, ADPi sister, & professional belly laugh-inducer. Kat and Emily's days have changed from going to Esso Club and binge watching the Cooking Channel to long distance weekly catch-ups, but they never miss a beat.
Groomsman
Lifelong friend and future mall Santa Claus. Derek & JT have had a prank war going for the last 15 years.
Bridesmaid
Full of kindness & grace but would fight anyone for you, Brooks is that ride-or-die friend. Brooks & the bride met in the first few weeks of college, both joined ADPi, & the following 6 years have been filled with many giggles, days in the sun, & Emily regularly consulting Brooks, Registered Dietician, for nutrition advice.
Groomsman
Life of the party & will always laugh at Derek's bad jokes. At the reception, look for Charlie telling Citadel stories by the bar or cutting a rug on the dance floor.
Bridesmaid
One of the bride's first friends she met in college, Mary Catherine and Emily have shared most things over the past 6 years -- college majors and MUSC study sessions, sorority function outfits, spring break trips, & supper club recipes. She's the kind of friend you lose track of time with every time you talk.
Groomsman
Lifelong friend of the the bride & groom, Derek's Charleston roommate and house chef. Will likely change into camo Crocs at the reception.
Bridesmaid
After meeting in 2017 through mutual friends (and bonding over their love & appreciation for tailgating), Hannah and Emily quickly became friends and now live together in Charleston. Plus, Hannah is the soon-to-be Mrs. Frazier -- she's marrying the groom's roommate. Do you think the boys are over the wedding planning talk yet?
Groomsman
Brother of the bride. Fantasy Football consultant and movie guru. The only male who can fully understand what Derek is getting himself into.
Bridesmaid
Sharing a passion for celebrating even the smallest events and good food, Lauren and Emily became friends and self-proclaimed food critics after both moving to Charleston. Fun fact: to ensure the bride didn't see her, Lauren disguised herself and sat with a random family on the beach to take pictures when the groom proposed.
Groomsman
Lifelong friend and Greenville roommate. Even though Henry & the groom live across the state now, their junk talking seems to get better with age.
Bridesmaid
Sister to the groom, Jessica quickly became like a sister to the bride. As big sister to a rambunctious childhood Derek, Jessica got her training early to be a future boy mom of three...several of Derek's childhood memories include Jessica making him wash his mouth out with soap.
Groomsman
Erik and the groom used to pretend to be brothers growing up. You can always count on Erik to make you laugh (he is much funnier than Henry).
