Passing each other on the way to and from classes, Tyler would stare at Erica. He asked a mutual friend for her number (and got told No), and then started liking her instagram pictures. Eventually, Tyler messaged Erica and they started chatting about sports and life. Not long after, Tyler started skipping class to take Erica on donut and milkshake dates. The rest is history ... they had fun bonding and going on adventures in the rain, and fell in love with each other's faces and personalities. Almost 7 years later, they live with their handsome dog, Kane, and look forward to doing taxes together.

The couple went to Stagecoach to enjoy some good ol' country music. Being Tyler's favorite place and wearing some good outfits, Tyler decided it was the perfect time to pop the question. During Cody Johnson's "Til You Can't," Tyler got down on his knee, with a crowd of people screaming and recording around him, and asked Erica to marry him. It was an easy Yes!
