Over Labor Day weekend, Lexi thought the Skrobot family was simply gathering for family photos. She was told that the photos were part of a christmas gift from Gabe's parents, David and Betsy. This wasn't unusual, since Christmas with the Skrobots is always full of surprises!

What Lexi didn’t know was that everyone was in on a much bigger surprise. Those "family photos" were the perfect cover for Gabe’s proposal! He had planned every detail, even down to the photographer hiding in the bushes. 

While Lexi thought she was waiting for Gabe’s family to arrive, she turned around and was completely shocked to see him down on one knee in the beautiful Japanese garden. Through tears and a whirlwind of emotions, she gave the easiest answer of her life: YES! 

Gabe was thrilled that his plan worked perfectly and even happier that she said yes. The celebrations lasted all weekend, and before long, the wedding planning was underway.
