Bride and Groom
We hope to see you all on our special day!
Ring Bearer
We wish! Maple will be playing with her own friends during our wedding celebration.
Matron of Honor
Liv is my younger sister, but you would swear that she is the oldest out of the two of us! I am so grateful that we have such a fantastic relationship. She is the most caring, compassionate, and lively person that you will ever meet. Alex worked very closely with Liv, my Mom, and his Mom to make our proposal incredibly special for us. We actually got engaged in Liv and Dom's apartment and it looked like something out of a movie! She will FINALLY be able to marry her high school sweetheart, Dominic, in December 2020 and I am so ecstatic to be her Maid of Honor in her wedding as well!
Best Man
Ryan and I have been best friends for most of my life. We met through youth sports when we were in elementary school and spent every single day in the summers together. I even used to refer to his parents house as my "Summer Home". He has always been the brother I never had and even though we've spent every year of college away from each other, whenever we get together it feels like a day hasn't gone by since I've seen him.
Bridesmaid
Alli and I met during a Kinesiology class at Penn State, and have been inseparable ever since. She is without a doubt one of the most influential people in my life. She pulled off one of the most AMAZING surprises of all time by coming to Pittsburgh as a surprise for my 25th birthday, and the video still makes me cry to this day. She is such a phenomenal friend and I could not imagine our wedding day, let alone our lives, without her!
Groomsman
Daniel and I met at a young age through youth sports but didn't become good friends until we ended up living in the same dorm at Ohio State as freshmen. We ended up living together every year until I eventually graduated (only took 6 years). I also got Daniel a job at the Horseshoe (Ohio Stadium) working maintenance our sophomore year where we spent the majority of our time. There were a couple years where the only time of the day I didn't see Daniel was when we were sleeping.
Bridesmaid
Vic and I met in line at Starbucks at Penn State (shocking, I know). Vic had recently rushed and joined Delta Gamma as a freshman. She ended up becoming my "little" in the sorority, as well as one of my absolute closest friends! She heavily influenced my love for Kate Spade and margaritas. One of my favorite memories with her was when Penn State beat Ohio State at Beaver Stadium. We were celebrating with her entire Penn State loving family after the game, and I wouldn't trade that memory for anything. I was lucky enough to be in her wedding party when she got to marry her lovely fiance (Vic was, in all seriousness, Queen of the North in her wedding dress and shawl) on January 18th, 2020, and I cannot wait to have her stand by my side!
Groomsman
Thomas is Ryan's brother-in-law, and he has been in my life almost as long as Ryan. He has been a great influence to me as a fellow engineering graduate of The Ohio State University. I will never forget the first time he came over for a New Year's Eve party at my parents house he started sneaking champagne by mixing it with root beer while the adults were downstairs (sorry if this is the first time you're hearing of this Mom and Dad).
Bridesmaid
Gaby and I met through cross country practice in high school! My Dad has always said that Gaby could basically be my twin, and he's not wrong. She was an insanely competitive swimmer in high school and college, but yet still ran ALL THE TIME. We could run every day together for months and never run out of things to talk about. She’s a beautiful person inside and out. I was fortunate enough to be one of her bridesmaids and see her marry the man of her dreams on June 12th, 2020. It is so fitting that we would have the same wedding date just 1 year apart!
Groomsman
Timmy is Elizabeth's younger brother. The first year Elizabeth and I were dating I didn't get to spend too much time with Timmy because he was attending Elon University in North Carolina. He later transferred to Pitt and I have gotten to know him much better since then. I have grown to admire his drive and work ethic as he prepares to enroll in law school. I take pride in knowing that I helped him get through his first year at Pitt by installing an old AC unit in the window of his dorm room.
Bridesmaid
Devon and I met through Penn State Fitness and our major, Nutritional Sciences! She was a cycling instructor, and studying to become a dietitian as well. I know for a fact that I would not have survived college without her - we would spend hours together studying, eat our way through State College, and somehow still make it to Bill Pickle's Taproom for Country Night nearly every Tuesday. She has the most contagious laugh, the biggest heart, and is one of the sweetest humans you will ever meet!
Groomsman
Dom and Liv were the first family members I met of Elizabeth's when I came to visit Pittsburgh for the first time. We were quickly able to break the ice because Dom shares my love of sports, beer, and bourbon. Every time we visit they take us somewhere fun and new. They are planning to move to Texas soon and we couldn't be more excited to explore their new city with them!
Mother and Father of the Bride
Sandy and Tim are traveling in from Pittsburgh, PA. They first met Alex in May 2017, and Lynn and Rex in November 2017. My Dad was very quickly impressed with Alex's love of numbers, statistics, and sports. My Mom loves that he is very passionate about cooking, that he continuously pushes me to try new things, and that he is handy. They remind me nearly daily that Alex has been such a blessing in my life, and I could not agree more.
Mother and Father of the Groom
Lynn and Rex met Elizabeth in April of 2017 when we came home for Easter. Elizabeth quickly fell in love with my Mom's cheese boards and eventually fell in love with how much my Dad jokes around with her. My Mom loves that she always keeps me organized and on task. My Dad loves how quickly Elizabeth fit in and was comfortable with everyone. He especially loves that whenever she is around, my Mom wants to try all her new recipes!
