Many have questioned the reasoning for having our wedding on a Thursday. Here’s a little backstory on why that day was chosen and the importance behind it. We met in 2010, at the time I was 16 and he was 15 years old. We were way too young to date and take each other serious which caused us to lose contact. However, we reconnected in 2014 and months later we decided that on May 9th, 2014 would be the start of our relationship. The first two years flew by as we both were in college, busy with studies all while working part time jobs. One thing for sure is we promised each other the distance wouldn’t get between us. Jordhan would travel twice a month to State College and spend the weekend with me. One weekend, we dined in at a Chinese restaurant and towards the end we took turns opening the fortune cookies. To our surprise, his read: “Someone from your past is coming to steal your heart.” We couldn’t believe the odds of picking a fortune that would actually be true. Here we are 10 years later with two beautiful blessings from God, Jaxxon and Joy’Marie. We couldn’t be any happier with the family that we created. Through all the up’s and downs, high and lows, we made it to this time in our lives to form as one. The moment he proposed, we thought the perfect way to celebrate our 10 year anniversary will be at our wedding May 9, 2024. Not only will we be celebrating 10 years of love but also sharing a special moment and opportunity to witness the two of us say our vows. Please join us on Thursday May 9, 2024 at The Celebration Venue in Bensalem at 5:30 p.m. sharp. Ceremony will start on time!!
