When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will be at the All Faiths Chapel in South Portland, with reception to follow at Austin Street Brewery in Downtown Portland. See "Timeline" tab for more information related to the flow of the day.

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place indoors. Our reception will have space both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor space will have space heaters and a few small fire pits.

Where should I park?

Answer

Ceremony - There will be free parking for guests on the SMCC campus. Reception - There is a free parking lot adjacent to the brewery, as well as ample street parking. We encourage carpooling or Uber when possible.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your invitation includes "and guest", then yes! Otherwise, we are keeping our guest list intimate and can only accommodate those formally invited.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see everyone dressed up with us! We kindly ask guests to dress in cocktail attire. For men - suit jacket and tie. For women - knee to ankle length dresses or dressy pants. No jeans, please. Jewel tones encouraged!

Will food be served?

Answer

Yes! We will provide light snacks and refreshments at the ceremony. Our reception will be catered by Sook Thai Mobile Kitchen. Vegetarian options will be available. Please alert us of any allergies or food restrictions when you RSVP.

Yes! We will have an open bar serving beer, wine, and cocktails.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We will not be participating in a formal registry. No gifts are expected - your presence is enough! We have set up a honeymoon fund if you would like to contribute to our first adventure as a married couple.

Who is in the wedding party?

Answer

Due to the small, intimate nature of our wedding, we will not be having a traditional wedding party. Claire's maid of honor is Megan Allen. They have been best friends since joining the same sorority in college and spent three years as roommates. Jacob's best man is Isaac Libby, his best friends since the beginning of their freshman year of college.
