How We Met

Our story began all the way back in kindergarten. We attended the same school from kindergarten through 8th grade, sharing classrooms, memories, and a friendship that was often a classic love-hate relationship. Even then, our lives seemed to be connected in ways we didn't fully understand. After graduating 8th grade, we went our separate ways—only to discover that our high schools were directly across the street from one another. Then, during sophomore year, another coincidence brought us together when we realized we were taking the same bus home. What started as simple conversations quickly turned into a close friendship, and before long, we were spending as much time together as possible. After graduating high school, we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. As the years passed, our relationship continued to grow stronger, and it became clear that we had found our forever partner. Looking back, we see all of these "coincidences" as part of Jehovah's plan for our lives. We feel incredibly blessed and thankful for the journey that brought us together and led us to this moment.

The Proposal

As our relationship continued to grow, it became clear that the next chapter of our story was waiting to be written. The journey toward that moment began with finding the perfect ring and receiving the blessing of our families, whose love and support have always meant so much to us. Wanting the proposal to be as meaningful as our story, we set plans in motion at a beautiful park overlooking an amazing lake. To make the surprise complete, an unforgettable idea came together with a generous stranger who allowed us to use their backyard as part of the surprise, leading to a pavilion with a breathtaking view. What seemed like an ordinary day quickly became one we would never forget. As our favorite song began to play, we made our way toward the pavilion. Waiting there were both of our parents, standing together and holding signs that spelled out four life-changing words: "Will You Marry Me?" In that moment, surrounded by the people who have loved and supported us throughout our lives, everything felt exactly as it should. It was a moment filled with joy, gratitude, happy tears, and the overwhelming feeling that Jehovah had been guiding our story all along. The answer was an easy "Yes," and with that, a new chapter of our journey began. We cannot wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you.
