Andrew proposed in the Japanese Friendship Gardens, located in Balboa Park! Whether you're interested in culture, history, or simply soaking in the beauty of the surroundings, Balboa Park is an unforgettable experience and a perfect way to spend a few hours or even a day in San Diego.
Sunset Cliffs
This is where we made our relationship ~official~, so Sunset Cliffs has a very special place in our hearts. When we have friends or family visit, this is always a must-see on the itinerary! Dramatic cliffs, rugged shorelines, and panoramic ocean views — it is truly one of the best spots to catch a San Diego sunset.
Burgeon at The Arbor - Little Italy
This is our favorite brewery in San Diego, located just two blocks from our apartment! This is a must-visit for craft beer enthusiasts who also want to enjoy a delicious meal (we highly recommend the Soi Cowboy wings).
Petco Park
Although Sara's blood will always be blue for the Dodgers, Andrew has successfully converted her into a Padres fan. If the Padres are in town, we highly recommend going to a game while you visit!
