The bride and Tomeka met over 8 years ago. Though, Tomeka gave off a harsh and "mean" persona. It was just that a persona. The bride and she quickly became fast and true friends. Tomeka has always been there for the bride when she needs a shoulder to lean on, providing that "big sister role" the bride never had. Always having a listening ear, sound advice, and nothing but love.

The Bride and Hannah meet at work and the two quickly became friends. Enjoying life and laughing at any and everything. Hannah has a big heart and is always there. Hannah brings out the light-hearted and funny side of the bride and when the two get together it is always a good time.

Cliff & Jamall meet 2006 on the flight on their way to boot camp. Cliff seeing that Jamall was nervous switched seats, and they quickly found common ground in Jesus. So, they prayed! After bootcamp, A school, an 8-month deployment on the USS Carney the friendship was solidified. Now 19 years later Jamall and Cliff are no longer friends, they are family.

A simple conversation turned into a brotherhood, Jolten and Jamall meet in 2015 on board USS Roosevelt. Already older and beyond his years; Jolten wanted to learn and rise quickly up the ranks and ask Jamall to show him how, and immediately respect turned into brotherhood and now family of 10 years and counting.

Jamall's Oldest and Longest friend, even though Jarrod is the shorter out of the two, he has always been the big older brother from the start! A true, friend brother and no matter what other people may have said or thought the two of them always stayed true to themselves and true to each other watch a friendship turn into a brotherhood for more than more than 27 years strong!

Travis and Jamall meet in 2016 on board USS Theordore Rosevelt CVN71. On board both Culinary Specialist Second Classes, Jamall and Travis had small conversations here and there and then one day Jamall invited Travis over to watch Football and the rest is History!
