We met accidentally in the parking lot of Milan Puskar Stadium, at a West Virginia University home football game. I went to the game with my best friend, Hunter. Tyler went to the game with one of my close friends from rugby, Chloe, and his roommates. Chloe and I decided to meet up right before the game so we could all go in together. When Chloe first introduced us , I texted her before we even made it to our seats to ask if he was seeing anyone ( what can I say , he's handsome!). Chloe set to work as the perfect matchmaker. On the walk into the student section within the stadium, she moved the group around to make sure we were sitting next to each other, for the entire 4- hour long football game. It wasn't exactly love at first sight, but Chloe was not going to take no for an answer. She knew we were a perfect match and she hatched a new plan. She invited us both to the same bonfire a week later and introduced us again..... and that time, it stuck! So if you see Chloe on our big day, congratulate her on a job well done!
Tyler and I fell in love while traveling the world, it is one of our favorite things to do together. Our first trip was to New York City in December of 2015. Since then, we have hiked Monteverde National Rainforest in Costa Rica, stood on top of an active volcano in Nicaragua, celebrated the holiday season (year 2) in Toronto, watched ships go by in the Panama Canal, explored Cartagena , Colombia and finally ... we got engaged while on holiday in London , England! We went to London for the Hyde Park Winter Festival. Tyler proposed while we were on the very top of the sky wheel - 150 feet above the festival!
