This is the airport located on Langkawi Island itself, travellers should plan to fly into Langkawi Airport if possible, however you will most likely need to connect through Kuala Lumpur. To make full use of the trip, consider booking a flight to Kuala Lumpur, spending a day or two there, and then taking a budget airline like Airasia to Langkawi. Bear in mind if you are only flying into Kuala Lumpur, it is a 6 hour drive + ferry ride to Langkawi Island.
