Wedding Party

Samantha

Maid of Honor

Sam also known as Sammy-Joe, is my little sister and has been by my side since I was six years old. Once I knew I was going to have a little sister I wanted to share a bedroom with her. Being six years apart in age, had its ups and downs growing up, but now we are at the perfect age! I still get excited for our sleepovers and when we get the chance, we lay awake at night talking for hours (or maybe that's me just talking to her). Either way I still get excited to share a bedroom with my little sis!

Rocky

Best Man

Rocky and I have been best buddies since 5th grade and our friendship has been pretty much the same the whole time (insert: awesome). As his fellow best man in his wedding, he knows me about as well as anyone and he’s someone I can always count on in all aspects of my life. We can always find a good reason why golf and a fine cigar should be celebrated and there are very few blackjack tables that haven’t called our names over the years. I couldn’t ask for a more genuine, honest and caring friend and wouldn’t want to have anyone else standing up next to me on wedding day

Megan

Matron of Honor

Megan has been my best friend since I was six years old. We met in Girl Scouts in first grade after Megan moved to Fenton and we’ve been inseparable since! We have always fought like an old married couple and if there is anyone in the world who knows how to give me advice, it's this girl. She is my ride or die and we joke that when we are old and gray (and if Brian and Kyle let us) we might finally get to live with each other in a nursing home.

Zach

Best Man

Zach and I met at DePaul and lived together our senior year there. Our year living together was one of the most fun & memorable years of my life (aside from the 3 years Meg & I have been together of course) and solidified our already incredible friendship. Being around Zach is always so easy and stress-free and I can always rely on Zach for calming reassurance. Zach can also be credited with coining the phrase “Shinney Shuffle”, which will always have a special place in my heart. While living in separate states prevents us from frequently getting together, we’re always able to pick up right where we left off no matter how long it’s been; a true sign we’re going to be life-long buddies.

Jackie

Bridesmaid

Jackie is my soon to be sister-in-law. I met Jackie when Brian introduced me to the family one month into us dating. I was so nervous to not just meet his sister, but his twin sister. Everything went perfect. Jackie loves having everyone together and having a great time! I appreciate the warmth she has shown as she welcomes me to the family. We have bonded over our love for dogs and our shared excitement for Halloween (they throw an epic Halloween party in NYC). I always look forward to visiting and growing closer as sisters.

Steve

Groomsman

Steve & I also went to DePaul together, and if I could have a Best Man Trio, Steve would be in that group. Steve essentially bunked with Zach & I senior year on our “alley found” couch and I’ll always have fond memories of waking up to “Gooooaaaalllll” blasting on the TV as Steve got in his South American soccer fix. Steve & I have spent endless nights out on the town and each one of them has been as memorable and outstanding as the next. One of the funniest and most charismatic people I know (think Zach Galfanakis but cooler), being around Steve always makes my life (and everyone else’s) better.

Susie

Bridesmaid

Susie has been my Saginaw Valley Soul Sister and Mexican food loving bestie since my sophomore year of college. We met when I joined the SVSU cheer team and I knew instantly that I wanted to be her friend! We have shared the best Sagnasty memories together especially being roomies our senior year of college. After graduating we continued to share our love for cheer and being a cardinal that we coached (separate cheer teams) at Davison High School. Still to this day we love to reminisce while we share margs, chips and queso.

Scott

Groomsman

Scott is my brother-in-law, married to my twin sister Jackie. Scott & I like to joke that we would still be good buddies even if Jackie wasn’t in the picture, turns out we’re really not kidding. We’ve solved many world problems over countless cocktails around the globe and I always look forward to the times that we get to spend together (regardless of how many we can accurately remember). Scott has a knack for livening up any situation and being around him always puts me in a better mood. I’m so proud that I can genuinely call Scott my brother and the fact that he makes my twin so happy is just icing on the cake.

Courtney

Bridesmaid

Courtney is my small-town gal pal. Her and I became friends about three years ago when I met her through Brian’s friend group. We instantly hit it off with her outgoing warm-hearted personality. We both love our doggies, fashion, golf, cheer and Olive Garden! She is always thinking about others and has been by my side through some of my worst and best days of my life. I can’t wait to celebrate with my booty-popping breadstick loving friend!

Brandon

Groomsman

Brandon & I met on a bachelor party and at that moment we knew we were destined to be great buddies. We recently both lived in downtown Detroit at the same time and naturally we did our part to make sure all the restaurants and watering holes had our full support to succeed. We’ve taken multiple snowboard trips together the past several years, with each year seemingly getting better than the one prior. Our budding golf rivalry will be one that will be written about for ages (that no one will read). He’s always been there for sage advice & comedic relief and he’s a great buddy that I can always count on and one that I know will be there for life.

Ally

Bridesmaid

Ally was the first friend in Brian’s friend group I got to meet. Her and her fiancé Brandon, picked Brian and I up to go to the Abraham's 4th of July party in 2017. Ally was instantly so warm and welcoming and that sums her up in a nutshell. Ally has become such a great friend and we even got the chance to be neighbors living in the David Whitney Building! She is my foodie loving Detroit girl that is always down for happy hour and giving the best travel advice!

Chris

Groomsman

Chris & I met through my buddy Steve (above) when they worked together in Chicago. The first time I met Chris he introduced me to the Vieux Carre cocktail and we’ve been aggressively supporting the bourbon industry in tandem ever since. A gem of a buddy, I can always count on Chris to make me laugh hysterically and be down for a thought-provoking debate. Chris is one of my great friend’s that I can always rely on for support. His cocktail crafting skills are next level and I’m so thrilled that we can continue to build a lasting friendship that’ll be anything but on the rocks for years to come.
