FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is Black Tie Optional. Feel free to wear tuxes and gowns if you would like, or formal dresses and suits are also welcomed.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at the reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so we can all be fully present together. We've hired professional photographers to beautifully capture every special moment, and we'd love for you to simply enjoy the experience alongside us. That said, please feel free to take as many photos as you'd like during the reception—we'd love to see them!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We aim to start the ceremony promptly at 3:30 pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Absolutely! Complimentary parking is available at the church for the ceremony, and we've arranged complimentary valet parking at the Masonic for the reception.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The Detroit Foundation Hotel and the Siren Hotel are great boutique hotel options downtown! There are also other budget-friendly chains such as the Courtyard by Marriott and the Hilton Garden Inn nearby.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please indicate this on your RSVP so we can make the necessary accommodations with our caterer.
