Nicole and Tommy met on a sunny summer day in twenty fifteen. After being invited to a barbecue at Tommy's house by a mutual friend, Nicole and her friends spent the afternoon with Tommy and his friends laughing, playing charades and getting to know each other. By the end of that day, Tommy told his friends he was going to marry Nicole and the rest is history.

The Proposal

On March thirteenth, twenty nineteen, Tommy traveled halfway around the world to Fiji for the opportunity to play Survivor. While he was gone, they were not able to communicate at all for the first time in the three and a half years they were dating. While Tommy was competing in challenges and starving on an island, Nicole was anxiously awaiting his homecoming on April thirtieth, twenty nineteen. The day came and Nicole headed to Tommy’s parents house where they were planning to do a welcome home dinner for Tommy. Little did Nicole know, Tommy made a plan before he left that this “welcome home” dinner was actually going to be an engagement celebration. When Nicole walked in the backyard, she saw candles, rose pedals, pictures of the two them and Tommy for the first time in what felt like forever. There, in the spot they first met, Tommy popped the question and they celebrated their engagement and Tommy’s return from Survivor with both their families.
