Kayla was hosting a game night for her friends at her home. Aaron and his friends had just left their convention and asked if it would be okay if they come by and join. After game night, both friend groups continually joined together for outings on the weekends. Slowly but surely, Aaron & Kayla got to know each other more and eventually started dating, July 2, 2019.

On our 2nd year anniversary of when we started dating, we celebrated at one of our favorite restaurants, Castaway, located in Burbank, CA. After lunch, Aaron says "Where to next?" I suggested our first date spot, "71 Above!" However, before leaving the restaurant, Aaron's mom called and asked, "Did I leave the giftbags in your trunk?" Aaron says, "Yes, I'll bring it to you now." Supposedly, Aaron's mom was nearby helping out at a graduation party. Not thinking anything of it, we drove there to meet his mom. Upon arriving, Aaron gets out the car. I asked to stay inside. LOL He goes in, but quickly comes back out and says, "There's a few sisters who want to meet you, come in and say Hi. It'll be quick, I promise." Hesitantly, I get out and proceed to go inside. Before entering, Aaron hands me a card. I was confused? Why are you giving a card for the graduate to me? LOL I didn't pay attention to the card until he said, "Read it". I then looked over and seen our videographer recording us.
