When we first met, we were looking for friendship. Neither one of us was ready for a relationship. Neither one of us realized that a simple message would turn into a lifetime. We started as friends. A year long friendship had become something deeper. Laughter that felt easy, comfort that felt familiar, and a connection that felt like home. From great talks that were difficult to share to dreams, we discovered that life was better when we faced it together. Through the ups and downs, we found strength in each other. We grew not only as individuals but as partners-learning, supporting and choosing one another every day. When the proposal came, it wasn't a surprise to our hearts because we already knew. We knew we had found our forever.
