David and Antoinette met at South Seas restaurant in Slidell on September 14,2016 but had been seeing each other while working in ministry. They had became good friends. David asked Antoinette on a “date” in October to eat one of her favorites which is crabs/seafood. They officially started dating December 2016. The two dated for 2 1/2 years and then decided to be just friends and support one another in ministry. David and Antoinette have always been destined for each other. The love for each other had gotten stronger and stronger each year that went by. In 2021 they started dating again and have been rolling ever since. Their love story is a true definition of “waiting and in His timing.” God has placed them together and they are extremely blessed and filled with love.

David and Antoinette first started talking about marriage a few years ago. One day he proposed while riding in the car. Antoinette told him no and he had to ask her dad (Alonzo). The second time he caught her off guard. They were at Keesler Federal Credit Union (they thought they were being robbed the way David screamed when Antoinette said yes). The employees were so excited after they calmed down, because they have never had this happened before.
