We're getting married!

Our love story begins at the University of Indianapolis where Jake was in physical therapy school and Kendall was about to graduate with her undergraduate degree. Throughout Kendall's time in college, she worked as an intramural referee as a side job, and throughout Jake's time in physical therapy school he played intramural sports as one of his stress relievers. According to Jake, it was his allstar athlete skills that won over Kendall's heart. Anyway, Kendall and Jake's second favorite stress reliever from school was a Thursday night out at Brother's Bar and Grill in downtown Indianapolis. One Thursday night during the semester, after too many blue long islands, Jake worked up enough liquid courage to make his way over to Kendall, who was dancing on the stage on the dance floor (obviously). After Jake's perseverance, several study nights at the library, and date nights that more than likely included beer and a form of fried cheese, we have ourselves a wedding y'all!

If you know anything about Jake, you know that planning isn't his favorite thing to do, but he really out did himself with planning his proposal to Kendall. Jake planned a hiking trip at Eagle Creek Park where he got down on one knee and asked Kendall to marry him at the same bench he asked her to be his girlfriend three years earlier. Kassidy, Kendall's sister, was hiding in the bushes nearby and captured the moment on her camera (and brought the celebratory champagne of course). Further up the trail, Kendall was surprised to see her parents, Andy and Karen, hiding in the trees. The surprises continued when Kendall thought she was going to dinner with Jake and her family but instead walked into a house full of family and friends ready to celebrate her and Jake's engagement.
